About the Project


The goal is to encourage interest in farming for children ages four to ten, by creating a unique tactic that encourages engagement from the entire family.

To increase attendance at the Corteva booth during the winter tradeshow season, we’ll send out a direct mailer to our current and prospective customer list at least three weeks before the first show. This consists of a Corteva branded envelope, a letter and two activity cards geared to farmers and their kids. This is presented in a tri-fold tear-apart deliverable.

In order to generate excitement we will be encouraging the younger generation on the farm to participate in educational activities by developing a Weed Detective Kit. We’ll hand out the kit to “young farmers” who bring their “Family” activity card to the Corteva booth. 

Packaged in a branded Corteva tote bag, the weed detective kit will include:​​


An activity book filled with educational games and tips on farming, as well as colouring pages for the younger generation to express their creativity and have fun.


A weed bingo card and matching weed stickers the “young farmers” can place on the card when they identify that weed on their farm or in their field. 


A bookmark encouraging farmers to share pictures of the kits in use on social media
